This observation deck can be reached from Piazza del Popolo, or you can get there after walking through the park that surrounds Villa Borghese. In any case, the highest point of the site offers stunning views of the square and Rome. In some places, sprawling trees prevent you from admiring the city. There are benches on the site where you can relax after a walk or climb from the square. However, street "molesters" do not allow you to relax - they sometimes impose flowers, supposedly for free, or baubles bracelets. We need to keep our eyes open!!! But it's definitely worth visiting this one of Rome's most famous and popular viewing platforms!
Terrazza del Pincio is an excellent observation deck with a magnificent view not only of the Piazza del Popolo, but also of a more substantial part of both Rome and the Vatican...
A great playground. From which you can see the pl, Popolo and the Vatican, the dome of St. Peter's Cathedral. The church of Santa Maria is not very visible behind the trees. But the view is beautiful.
And if you go down lower, then other views open up.
