The temple has been preserved quite well, despite the powerful earthquake that destroyed many buildings in the area. There are many interesting statues here. Two pillared halls. In one, the columns are well preserved, in the other, only the foundations remain, but it does not prevent you from understanding the full greatness of this temple. The entrance portals to different parts of the temple are decorated with hieroglyphs, which are perfectly preserved and some are very large-scale. Some hieroglyphs are very deeply cut into the stone, the guide says that even then they wanted to preserve them for thousands of years, and they have succeeded for 4,000 years and are pleasing to the eye. At the very end of the temple, where the altar is, you can ask the caretakers to go to the left into a room where a ray of sunlight breaks through from a hole in the roof and hold up your palms to take a beautiful photo, as if you caught this ray. We were very pleased with our visit to this temple, 1.5 hours flew by almost unnoticeably. Choose the time of the year, otherwise it's very hot here, even at the end of October.

An incredible place! It stands out from all the temples with its beautiful battle scenes. It impresses with its scale and good preservation. The drive from Luxor is not far, there is a parking lot. I definitely recommend it!!! There was some kind of confusion with the tickets, the ticket office was not working, but then they got some "left" tickets from under the floor right at the entrance. We understood that there were only groups there, but that's not for sure.

The funeral temple of Ramesses III is something incredible! It's huge and very old, but it looks amazing. There are so many different rooms and corridors, and the walls are covered with beautiful drawings and inscriptions. You feel like you've entered ancient Egypt. Very impressive!
