Quite possiblity the best military museum in Russia, although it's been a while since I've been to the Moscow one (I'll be there next week). Not huge and as a foreigner I paid 400rub instead of 250. But it had me wishing I'd learned more of the Russian language, as of course there's nothing in English. Starts with the war between Reds and Whites, photos, maps and displays. There's the Great Patriotic War, of course. And also Afghanistan and Grozny, with an area for Chernobyl. Another good point, in the last hall there's a number of infantry long weapons that you are allowed to handle, for photos and to feel the weight and size. If I am ever back in Samara, I'll be going again

Удивительно познавательный и увлекательный музей для интересующихся военной историей. Начиная от гусар, гражданской, Великой отечественной, афганской, чеченской и даже СВО. Множество предметов оружия, манекенов, диорам! Не ожидаешь увидеть такую коллекцию в Самаре, да и ещё в историческом здании! Экскурсовод Надежда Ерофеева гражданское лицо, но рассказывала очень увлечённо и со знанием всех деталей! Спасибо огромное!

Отличный музей! Пусть каждый день в этом месте будет наполнен открытиями и радостью, а экспозиции рассказывают увлекательные истории прошлого. Желаю, чтобы труд приносил невероятное удовлетворение и всегда был оценен по достоинству. Пусть стены музея хранят не только экспонаты, но и тепло сердец тех, кто искренне интересуется культурой и историей.
