I was there a few years ago, but, apparently, the situation has not changed much, both on the pros and cons. Yes, this is a very interesting place; monkeys are in their natural habitat (well, relatively natural - they live near the road anyway). Yes, they are as direct as possible, and you can look at them, their behavior, and their relationships, like on safari. I will not say that they are aggressive. Probably not. But they might be interested in some item that you have. Therefore, the guides immediately say that in no case should you show them the food (and in general, it's better not to bring it here). Young monkeys, I don't know why; maybe for fun, they can grab their legs. They didn't bite, they just tried to grab it once. But the main problem is the number of monkeys. There are a lot of them here, and this, for example, caused me concern. Yes, they don't seem to have any reason to attack, but when you think, "What if they attack?" - I'm getting scared for myself and for my family. Therefore, the place is interesting and unusual, but there are so many wild animals without any restrictions... It's scary.

Great place, free admission, really liked it. A walk uphill, at an altitude of 2000m, through the jungle surrounded by monkeys, that's something.

Like all tourists, we were told not to go to monkey Mountain, it's dangerous, monkeys are wild. But we went and didn't regret a bit. There are a lot of monkeys from young to old. The way up the mountain is almost 3 kilometers. In fact, these are kind of health trails for Thais. There is an observation deck at the top. Tips before visiting: 1. Wear closed clothes, preferably not bright and without frills, flounces and fringes. Monkeys can get very interested. 2. Hide all the food and water. We hid everything, but the bottle remained in the side pocket. A monkey jumped on us and took the bottle. But I did everything carefully, without scratching or aggressively. 3. Do not take anything away from the monkeys, they will definitely attack and may bite. 4. Don't smile at monkeys. 5. Monkeys are not interested in technology. 6. And most importantly, this is the territory of monkeys, you are visiting them, so you need to be respectful. We went in the evening and there were a lot of Thais who, if they saw that the monkeys were reacting suspiciously to a tourist, would definitely help. Many Thais have slingshots with them, which they use to scare away very frisky monkeys. Following the basic rules, we enjoyed the walk immensely.😁
