This observation deck is located near the temple and the five-thousand-meter Kazbek is clearly visible from it and views of the village of Stepantsminda open.
I'm not sure that Kazbek from this site is more impressive than the view that you can see at the foot.
If you come as part of an excursion, then you will need to pay for the ascent separately to the local (about 20 GEL).
An extraordinarily beautiful place. There is a view of the mountains, of Stepatsminda. A place for the soul, where you can sit on a stone and retire with your thoughts.
I was on a day trip to Georgia to Kazbek, Gergeti temple with lunch on the terrace of the Rumz hotel. Everything is beautiful, of course, but I will not go to Georgia anymore, although I had plans to travel around Georgia. Let the Georgians wake up first, remember who is who. Suddenly they forgot the Russian language, many behave arrogantly. I will live without Georgia, but will Georgia live without Russia? I do not recommend it.
