Cozy, comfortable , friendly
There is a seven eleven store on site, which is convenient while waiting for registration. The whole process is quite fast and organized.
We will definitely come back.💥💥💥.
See you soon)))
It's a great airport. We really enjoyed it. Upon arrival, everything is standard and fast. On departure: check-in for the flight started much earlier. The girl, upon request, registered two places, side by side, separately, for free. And in Russia it cost 2000 rubles. The money, of course, is not very big, but the sediment remains. Then it's your turn to check in your luggage. Then it's the customs line. That's it, then wait and take off. The duty free is a bit meager. But overall, it's very good.👍
A small military airport. Accepts local planes and international charters. Duty free is small, the choice is small. Alcohol, cosmetics, dried fruits, etc. Opposite the airport there is a convenience store Sevenleven 20 meters away. The service is polite, slow, it is better to arrive in advance.
A three-star airport...
a former military airport not designed for civil aviation and a large number of passengers. Whether it's the laziness of the staff (and Thais in general), or the illiterate distribution of passenger flows... That when they arrived they stood in queues, that when they left. When we arrived, we were standing in line for passport control. But when they flew away, this is a separate "song". At first, we stood in line for 2 hours to get tickets (this, by the way, is just a checkbook, I have never seen such tickets before). There were only 2 check-in counters and if you have an advantage, you are sent to pay and the whole queue is waiting for the person to stand back to pay the advantage and return to the same counter. Next, you take your suitcases (they do not leave on the tape 😁 the tape is for weighing the suitcase😆) and go to another queue, there you give the suitcases and they are taken away. Then you go upstairs, get in the third queue, in the bark they check the spelling of the surname in the passport and in the ticket. Then go to the fourth queue, put everything on the tape and go through the frame. And finally, the fifth stage is passport control. There is a small duty free, there is a cafe where you can buy something to eat. One small waiting room. In general, if there were no queues, it would be fine.
It's good, the airport is clean, the toilet is washed constantly, the queues are moderate in general, the duty free is small, the entrance / exit is convenient, food / drinks / booze are sold. Follow the rules for taking things out. They find fault with everything a lot
Excellent small airport near Pattaya. There are beauty fries. A big plus is that it's faster to get to Pattaya than from Bangkok. If you haven't had time to buy souvenirs or local goodies, then take them here. There is a choice. New cool vacations for everyone!
Huge queues for registration, traveled all over the world, but did not stand anywhere for more than 1-1.5 hours. But that's not all, during check-in, the luggage is only weighed and given boarding passes. Then, with your luggage and tags pasted on, you go to another queue in another place and check in your luggage there. Then the passport and security check.
In general, all together for 4 hours.
There are enough places in the waiting room, there is where to eat, buy water. There is a small but quite an assortment butik.
The toilets are clean.
The convenience of the airport is a half-hour drive to Pattaya and an opportunity. It's a budget way to get to the hotel by taxi.
They say a big reconstruction of the airport is coming, I hope...
A huge plus is that it is located close to Pattaya, it takes 30-40 minutes to get to the city, it is very compact, it is better not to count on shopping when flying home, there is one shop with a small assortment.
It's cool and comfortable there, there are places in the waiting room where you can have a snack, the bathrooms are clean, just be careful, guys, follow the rules.
It's a good airport, it's very convenient that it's opposite 7/11. You can check in your luggage and go there for a snack. There is a departure area on the second floor, but only one duty-free shop.
The queues are long, we did not have a preponderance, so we did not stand in additional queues. Turn 1 - check-in for the flight and weigh the luggage, turn 2 - check the luggage, look at and check the contents of the luggage, turn 3 - check the ticket and passport data, turn 4 - passport control and fingerprint scan, turn 5 - inspect you and your hand luggage. In total, all this took exactly 1 hour. I don't see any point in visiting Duty free, because nothing has been cheaper here for a long time. There are several eateries in the waiting room, the prices are normal, not sky-high, a great opportunity to spend the remaining baht and have a snack. If you are a coffee lover, then in "Arigato" it tastes burnt. There is also a currency exchange office, but I did not use it. Of the disadvantages, I will only note that there are few outlets for so many people. I only saw 2 pieces. Otherwise, everything is fine, the airport is clean, the toilets are cleaned regularly.
The whole vacation we were scared by the fact that there is no Duty free at the airport. Buy somewhere, you won't buy there. Yes, everything is there. That's enough for everyone. Well, unless you're going to take out half of Thailand)))) The airport is small, the departure was only our plane. There was no queue for bottles of rum. There are a lot of shops right now, but they're not working yet. January 2025.
It is a very small airport, but relatively close to the resort of Pattaya. To get from the center, if there are no traffic jams, it takes a maximum of 40 minutes. There is a currency exchange, a couple of coffee shops and a small boutique in the departure area. I can't imagine what will happen if at least two flights coincide in time of arrival or departure: for passport control or, accordingly, for registration, the queue will be eternal, there are very few counters. And the "clean" area in front of the gates is tiny, there is barely enough space for one charter waiting for boarding.
Unlike hotels at the airport, he is lazy but polite. The international airport is the face of the state. I was flying from Shanghai with a transfer, as there were no direct flights. Huge queues, everything is long, plus irritability after a long flight. The airport doesn't pull 5. I haven't visited Dutch Free for a long time.
A small airport, about the size of our Novokuznetsk.
In the past, it was a military airport.
We stood at the check-in for a very long time, although we served our flight 5 times.
A thorough search, as everywhere else.
There is a small duty free zone.
In general, everything is fine.
The development of the airport is very noticeable compared to even 5 years ago. By the way, in duty free, local alcohol is noticeably cheaper than seven eleven or Tesco
Friendly and courteous airport staff, positive staff, helped to connect Wi-fi.Clean, air conditioning is enough to feel comfortable. They register quickly enough, I recommend it.
I want to share my impression of the U-Tapao International Airport, which I visited recently. I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of service and amenities provided for passengers.
First, I would like to mention the fast and efficient service. Queues for registration and passport control were minimal, which significantly reduced the waiting time. In addition, there are many cafes and shops at the airport where you can spend time before departure.
Secondly, I would like to mention the convenient location of the airport. It is located just a few kilometers from Pattaya city, which makes it accessible to tourists. In addition, Russian tourists do not need a visa to visit Thailand, which makes U-Tapao an attractive place to relax.
I would also like to mention the excellent quality of service and comfort on board the aircraft. Free drinks and food were offered on board, as well as comfortable adjustable chairs.
Overall, I am very pleased with my visit to U-Tapao International Airport and recommend it to all Russian tourists who plan to visit Thailand. Fast service, convenient location and excellent on-board service make U-Tapao one of the best options for a trip to Thailand. Thank you for your excellent work!
Great airport. There is a lot of space. That's enough for everyone. Near Pattaya. There is everything and an exchange. And packing of luggage. And such clean toilets. There is something to eat. There is a duty free. They greet you with a smile. They see me off with a smile. Everything is fine 👍
Strange check-in for the flight, the luggage is not taken to the tape, it is weighed and it is necessary to carry it again to another place for inspection and pick it up there. Tea in the waiting room costs 100 baht.even in our expensive airport there are 80 rubles. The Thais have surpassed us.
This year, on February 24, we flew from U-tapao. Everything was closed. There was nowhere to eat. Only two small and very expensive products operated from the stores. As a result, we returned home with a foreign exchange
A small, but clean, pleasant airport, and most importantly, it does not take hours to get from it to the hotels that are located on the coast. If the guides try to persuade you to buy duty free products somewhere else, do not believe, there is a store at this airport and more than one, and you can buy everything you need before flying home.
It takes a very long time to register. The duty-free service is small. There was a small coffee shop, coffee from a takeaway machine (cold, hot) and a couple of sandwiches.
The waiting room is hot and stuffy.
The airport is excellent, small and fairly fast registration, shops in the interior at regular prices, especially alcohol, but a snack is too expensive, it's better to take everything with you in your hand luggage.
So-so airport, if possible, it is better to fly through Bangkok. The staff is always angry and nervous. Dutifrey is tiny, the choice is small, the prices are higher than in Turkey and the UAE.
Modestly, cleanly, with a little dutik)! There are no smoking areas, the airport is not big. There are places for a snack, waiting for the plane is quite comfortable!
A normal airport, comfortable seats, working placards, clean toilets, no smoking, friendly staff, everyone is polite and smiling, Duty free is fast, but in February 2024 rum 0.7 was cheaper than in 7/11
A small airport. There are few shops. More precisely, one plus some kind of shop. But you pass through customs control very quickly and receive your luggage.
The airport is small, but quite comfortable. Registration and passport control are fast. There are enough chairs in the hall. There are two dewey fries, also small, with a diverse range of products. There are perfumes, alcohol, sweets, and various small items. A bottle of Sang Son rum, 0.7 costs 270 baht, Hong thong, 0.7 - 310 baht. As a disadvantage, the lack of sockets for charging gadgets can be noted.
We took a local flight. I've read the reviews, it's 4 hours before I need to arrive. Don't use the local ones. Registration starts 3 hours in advance. There aren't many people. Everything was done in 30 minutes.. Everywhere is empty. It's all clear.
Small but intuitive, there is a separate smoking cabin, toilets, waiting areas, a weighing machine and luggage storage. Quick registration, convenient registration, fast and clear
Tiny. I thought I'd get there and eat while I'm waiting for the plane. Incredibly, there are only beach bags you can eat (instant noodles and mashed potatoes) and donuts.
A normal airport. They passed the control quickly. In our case, no one found fault with a slight advantage, the waiting room is spacious, air conditioning is working, a small Duty free selection is small and horse prices are literally for everything. But this seems to be the norm for Thailand. It is even possible to return the Tax free, in my case very quickly and without questions. The airport is quite decent.
A quiet and calm airport, you would not wish for a flight home, no fuss and jostling, two or three flights on the stream, everything is fast and efficient. There is a duty, you can also have a snack

A compact airport. Super friendly staff. We flew home, turned a blind eye to our excess baggage)) thank them for that. Everything is clean and awesome. My favorite Tai))
A good medium-sized airport.
Fast customs with fingerprint reading, good baggage collection. Everything is clean and tidy.
There are few shops. Only one duty free and a couple of cafes.
It is very good to fly here to relax in Pattaya, the transfer is much faster than from Bangkok. The airport is small, but everything is compact. However, the plane from Moscow, which delivered 400 passengers, had to stand at the control. Immigration cards are no longer needed, but they do take fingerprints and photos of all arrivals.
A very small airport. The duty-free zone is limited to two small shops and a couple of cafes. The choice is appropriate. There is not much to brighten up the long wait for boarding the plane
A small, convenient airport. The staff is very friendly. Clear. It is not expensive to eat, only for the local currency. Dutifry is small, but it is not expensive to buy gifts. We bought sweets, dried fruits, magnets, souvenirs all at affordable prices. Everything is very good.
Oh, it's a terrible place, I flew in with my powerbank and they don't allow me to fly back, now I'm paying in installments for nothing! After all, it didn't cost 5 kopecks for 25k tenge
We tried to change the remaining baht in the exchanger early in the morning. At the information desk, they replied that the exchanger would open at 8 o'clock, they came up several times, the last one at 8-45, but it never opened...I had to buy goods in Duty free. Some were paid in baht, some on an international card (you can pay extra in dollars). So don't rely on the exchanger. We wanted to buy something to eat on the plane, but there was only 1 cafe, which had only sandwiches with an incomprehensible paste. It's good that we took a little with us in advance, because there was not something to order on the plane, and there were not even chips with nuts on board! And the flight to Moscow is not close...
It is comfortable, the air conditioners work. Registration was quick. The service is polite, if you know at least a little English, you can ask for a place, for example, by the window. Duty free is small, perfumes are few, alcohol and various goodies. There are not enough seats in the waiting room, if there are a lot of people on several flights, but you can sit on the floor)) in cafes, the calculation is only in baht
