Level 7 Local Expert

There are a lot of shops from duty free to clothing to potato seller. It is a tidy airport with lots of sitting places at the gates. However, as every other airport bottled water is very expensive (€2 per 0.5 litre) and there should have been far more screens with flight information.

Always a smooth experience here. Food is fine, access easy and shopping good. Its the main hub for Turkish Airlines so very convenient for connecting.

Level 8 Local Expert

Too many people in passport control and not enough staff to facilitate fast processing of passports. Poor effort which this airport never seems to fix.
