Hello everyone I was in Jerusalem at the end of May this year. I really enjoyed the trip. Even the air there is saturated with sanctity. I was very impressed by the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Something incredible for a believer… I went to the Wailing Wall on my own. She was not included in the schedule of our pilgrimage to the holy places. But, for me, this is the History of mankind, it is impossible to be in Jerusalem and not see the Wailing wall. By the way, it's called the Western Wall, or the Western Wall. The signs will only lead the traveler to it. Despite the fact that it has primarily Jewish significance, its history is also connected with other religions, especially Christianity, since it is part of the Temple Mount. There was a temple there that Jesus Christ visited. You have to walk to the Western Wall through ancient Jerusalem, through narrow streets that rise uphill and are framed on the left and right by merchants with all kinds of goods. Interestingly, the cobblestones that line the road are polished with your feet so that you have to walk carefully so as not to slip. In some places, there is a conveniently arranged descent, in the form of deep steps. Comfortable. To get directly to the square where the wall is located, you need to go through a checkpoint. Go down the steps and go to your side: men and women pray separately. Of course, I didn't pray there, but they touched the wall with my hand. It gave me pleasure, as there was a sense of connection between the times. It's an exciting feeling. The wall itself is a grandiose structure. There are a lot of notes and appeals to God. There were a lot of tourists from all over the world, it was hot, so I just touched the wall and went back to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is located nearby. The feelings that embrace the visitor of the Temple cannot be described in words. I am delighted and happy that you are here. Probably so!

The Wailing Wall... I do not know whether to call for a visit - it is individual for everyone. For Jews, of course, it is a shrine and you definitely need to go there. I am a tourist, I was interested from a historical point of view and I did not regret it. Before approaching the Wall, you will pass the checkpoint, then the women must cover their heads, and the men pin bales (disposable ones will be given for free). The space in front of the Wall is divided into "M" and "W", it is more spacious for men, but there are more praying women. I didn't write any notes - it's not our tradition, but I managed to get very close and put my palm on the Wall, amazingly - it's warm, like a human body. I just squeezed my eyes shut and made a wish - a year later it came true. If you are an unbeliever or you are calm about the sights, then you will be bored there. We didn't have much time that time, next time we will try to climb to the mosques. And yet - there are Garbage gates nearby, through which you can leave the city and explore other interesting places. You can also book an individual tour (but this is in Israel itself) and see the tunnels under the Wall. By the way, there are toilets near the square, but they say it's dirty (we haven't been there).

An energetically powerful place! You feel peace and quiet right there, but in your heart you want to wish everyone peace! It's not an easy road to get there, and you'll go crazy until you find it, but it's worth it. And stock up on cash, there are few places in the spine where they accept cards, including those they don't want to accept! ATMs are not all working.
