Nowadays Uzbekistan Airports teies to schedule all flights at the same time, therefore airport capacity is limited. There are not enough seats in waiting area once you pass airport security. Moreover, the coffeshop is crowded and it takes forever to order a cup of coffee.
Bathroms are small and not enough toilet seats, only 2, once you pass security and waiting for boarding.
Overall airport is much better than it was 5-7 years ago. Passport control areas improved. Still not enough places where you can have cup of coffee and sandwich. Not enough toilets at the ground floor of departure area.
Tashkent Airport, in principle, has changed little since the 80s. But inside it is clean, spacious and cozy. The staff is very friendly. Contrary to expectations, all control and registration were carried out quickly. Passport control was carried out along a separate corridor for automatic reading of biological passports. It struck us very pleasantly. Even in Koltsovo there is no such thing.
An ordinary airport. On departure - the middle space. There is a place to sit down and have an inexpensive snack. Huge shops with high prices. On arrival, everything is compact, you don't have to run far. People who meet chill outside in the heat and cold.
The airport seemed small and compact! The staff speaks Russian, is friendly and polite.
I was upset and upset by the hotel in the transit zone, capsule, well, very expensive, 150 euros per night,... shower with cold water, there is no service, the price does not match the services, unfortunately there is no choice, BUT in the wake.If I happen to stay in Tashkent, I'd rather spend the night in an armchair...you won't feel the difference!
1. Departure.
Thoughtful access to the airport building.
An intuitive route to the departure waiting area.
A fairly clear procedure for border crossing and inspection.
A large range of duty free.
Clean restrooms, a huge waiting room.
2. Arrival
A well-thought-out arrival procedure.
There are short distances between key points everywhere.
The airport is always hospitable! I love him very much. There is a cellular connection - the guys will always advise which SIM card to buy. A large selection of tourist brochures in Uzbekistan! And there is Wi-Fi! There is always a taxi nearby! Not far from the city! Wonderful!
Hello.
The airport has become prettier after the addition of part of the street area to it. It became more spacious, high ceilings, more air. Separate, already noticeable at the entrance, clear entrances for departing economy class, CIP and VIP. Just like before, you can take a taxi directly to the entrance. The airport staff are quite stress-resistant and friendly.
A good airport, especially near the cafe restaurant terminal, I ate a very tasty borscht there. The friendly staff even gave me a little sleep in a corner while I waited 12 hours for a transfer for the next flight.
I recently visited the airport and was very satisfied. I liked that the airport is warm, comfortable and clean. All the rooms are excellent. The staff is helpful.
A beautiful modern, cozy airport. Friendly, attentive staff and staff. Everything is comfortable, spacious, atmospheric. I liked the Anor hall very much, everything is simple and good. I would like to especially mention the representatives of Aeroflot, namely Rasul and Ahmad, and express my gratitude to them for their help and understanding... I will also note separately the seller of branded Italian leather products next to the cafe "Anor" - Amina, the guy is really very responsive, decent, you can see good upbringing and politeness, a rarity in our time.
Quite a decent airport terminal. Do you know what is interesting for our travelers? If you have an Aeroflot gold card, you get into a very good business lounge, where other airlines do not enter.
This is my favorite airport. Probably because there is a Homeland there. Construction is underway now, but the results are already visible. Big, clean, cozy, with a huge dutifre. Separated arrival and departure terminals, it's just a cannon. And the main thing is that in such heat, we arrived on July 25, flew away on August 8, it was the hottest in Tashkent, and it was very cool at the airport. A waiting room was built, with air conditioning and soft drinks. It's such a concern for people. Class. Parking is large, and by the way, in relation to other airports, this one is not expensive
Cleanliness, toilets at every turn, and clean.
The staff is polite, greeted and escorted with a smile. The scoreboard and signs are all immediately clear where to go. You pass the inspection and control with pleasure.I really liked the airport
A good port. Everything is clear and precise in the departure area. There is a good duty free. Lots of space, spacious.
Arrival area.
Transit - if from the plane by bus, then in the airport building immediately turn left up the stairs (TO passport control). If the telescope is on the ramp, then when passing through the corridor, an airport employee shouts "transit".
Currency exchange immediately after passport control. Left and right. Both points worked. They changed $ and €. At that time, the exchange rate was the same as in the city's banks.
Alcohol in duty free on the left after the luggage belt.
There is a luggage room. Just a room with a guard in a separate building WITHOUT air conditioning. Round the clock. If I'm not mistaken, 6 t. sum / hour or 30 / day. At the exit from the arrival terminal, turn left to the end, past the departure terminal (without leaving the airport).
I won't say about Wi-Fi, I didn't connect.
It's a very good airport, the new one is better than the old one, the mourners can go inside for me, this is one of the main things, it's very convenient, everything is thought out to the smallest detail, thank you very much!
It's a small airport, the transit area is small, but! There is a hotel inside if the waiting time is more than 7.The watch is very convenient. 50$ per day
There are places to eat, few places to wait for the flight.
Not a small airport. Everything is comfortable. But, the impression is spoiled by the lack of teletraps and turns the boarding and disembarking of passengers into a nightmare. The Uzbek Paralympic Team was flying with us and it was extremely unpleasant when the guys who won as many as 55 medals went out through the ladder and only then the ambulift came, which was completely packed with those who could not go down the usual ladder in any way.
Otherwise, everything is fast enough, clean and comfortable.
This is the third time in a year that I have used the company's services, the hospitality is as high as ever, the quality and cleanliness are impeccable. I will definitely use it next time, thank you very much.
Even as a transit passenger, it is necessary to pass the inspection, where they take the lighter / matches. There is a smoking room in the green zone, but you need to get a fire somewhere (you can't buy it in dutaks).
There is a lot of Wi-Fi in the zone, but to log in, you need to have a local confirmation number. In the cafe at the end of the hall on the left, if you go to the right of the entrance, there is Wi-Fi and the password is written on the window on a4 sheet.
The business room is meager, you can't enter it by ku-er skin, it costs $ 40 for 4 hours. There are no reclining/reclining chairs, samsa and beer are on the menu.
There is also a cafe in the green zone with the lowest price tag of $ 5 for a coffee or sandwich.
There is a hotel: a 2.5x2 meter compartment room. A 10-hour stay will cost $50. But there is Wi-Fi.
This year I spent 25 hours in this terminal several times.
The airport is very compact, the staff is polite, there are practically no queues, all the screening procedures were carried out quickly. The airport is clean, everything is clear, there are enough places to wait, there are cafes and shops. In general, we were satisfied with our stay at the airport
The airport in Tashkent is small, but good, clean, everything is clear, the prices are acceptable in the duty free. There are several cafes in the departure area, everything is fresh, delicious and all the sellers speak Russian, which is very pleasing. And by the way, everyone spoke Russian at the control and inspection, too.👍🏻
Impressions are both positive and negative. You will meet both attentive and supportive airport staff, competent and attentive staff who quickly and accurately do their job and more so that the guests of the Republic are as pleasant as possible, but you will also meet frank indifference and formalism, which can spoil all the positive impression of the staff and stay in the country (for guests). Constant protracted repairs and reconstruction are also not encouraging, inconvenient entrance and exit to and from the airport. Greeters are not allowed into the terminal building, so everyone is crowding outside in the open air.
March 25, 2024 It's 25 degrees in Tashkent. The impression of the airport: clean, but everything is Soviet. The toilets are old, without modern amenities, all rooms are in the same condition. I was surprised that the woman in the ladies' room was washing her feet in the sink. There are 2 buildings here - both are small. One is for arrivals, the other is for departure. I was unpleasantly surprised by 2 more points - everyone is asked to take off their shoes when passing the scanner and after the scanner, a female controller spanked me from head to toe with her hands, I would say that without any ceremony and in all places. And everything else is like everywhere else. And another important and, perhaps, the most negative point is the lack of air conditioning, only ventilation. Extremely uncomfortable here is waiting for the start of the landing. P.S. And I completely forgot about one more disadvantage - there are no sockets. It is possible only in the cafe area. I accidentally found one by the window - I had to sit on the floor and frantically charge the phone, because it was almost empty
A good airport of local importance. Development is constantly underway. I fly a lot, there were no problems with the staff. Departures are rarely delayed, the duty is not large, but with a choice of the most necessary.
A good airport, like many - there is a construction site outside for expansion. Clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and helpful. The navigation is clear. It is located near the city.
You arrive in Tashkent, a beautiful green blooming city!
The lack of free drinking water at the airport immediately lowers its level! Most of the international departure area is duty-free. The range is too expensive and there is little choice . There is a minimal set of amenities, but the architecture of the boarding gates is simply ugly .
The local card is not accepted for payment. Payment can be made in cash, local currency, rubles, dollars and euros.
I am very pleased with the place for prayer, and I would like to thank you for this.
The range of sales, both grocery and other, is expanding.
The airport is decent. Air conditioners work well when it's under 40 outside, which is especially valuable. There are many different shops. It is important that taxi drivers try to rip off two or three counters from visitors. Ask them to build a route in Yandex and see the price. Then you can throw on a little bit. They will be happy in e. The security service checks the entire flow of people. Well done. Safety comes first. When I was there, Italians with nail scissors were not allowed to enter the airport. Don't forget to check in your luggage. Everyone have a soft landing and a good flight.
It is quite a cozy place and very clean. The only drawback is one toilet for the entire huge waiting room and it is closed every hour for plumbing. There is also no hygienic shower in the toilet.
There is no place for sleeping and relaxing in the waiting room, only armchairs. Of course, you can also sleep on them, but it is inconvenient.
The airport is like an airport. Everything is good and safe, the navigation is clear. The Dutik is not big and, in my opinion, stupid, the choice is not big. Souvenirs are expected to have a horse price tag. There are cafes, waiting rooms are large. Everything is as it should be. But Uzbekistan Airways is a separate story, it's just something amazing! Both on domestic and international flights.
I wanted to leave a review for those who are interested, maybe someone is at this airport for the first time. Very good service. First, you need to check at the entrance, then go up again to inspect the waiting areas a lot of air conditioners work for convenience. Everything is great. The staff is very polite. of the disadvantages, there are few outlets for charging phones, and there are no cafes for a snack, I hope this will be resolved soon. If you fly with Uzbekistan Airways, I recommend excellent food.
Recently renovated, modern airport with a national flavor. All the features of large modern airports are present. Hotels, duty-free shops, food courts, comfortable, clean toilets...
There is room to grow...... This is the country's air harbor, the very first gate through which foreign visitors visit our region. But in this state, I am ashamed of our system, no development, no thinking, a terrible mess, no order, no digitalization. Everything flows by itself..... Sorry, very sorry......
